Open to all 7-day members with a handicap and their guests.

5 day members may play but must pay a green fee.

Guests without a handicap index will play off a course handicap of 18.

Juniors are eligible to enter this competition providing a responsible adult is playing with them.

Teams of 6-can be any combination of ladies, men and juniors, including all men or all ladies with a maximum of 3 guests per team.

The Championship will be played as two rounds, a team Stableford in the morning and a team Texas Scramble in the afternoon.

There will be separate prizes for the morning and afternoon rounds but only those teams with the same 6 players in both rounds will be eligible to win the Trophy,

Lunch will be served between the rounds and will be optional.

Morning Round

Format : Team Stableford in teams of 6 with a maximum of 3 guests per team. 

Playing Handicap: 95% of Course Handicap. Ladies play off their own card and receive no handicap adjustment strokes.

The Captain's score and the best 4 scores to count. In the event of a tie the score of the 6th player will be used.

Shotgun start at 9.00am so please arrive by 8.15 at the latest.

The draw will be made so that the team pairings will play together. No names need to be drawn as each team may select their own pairings. These pairings to be given to the competition organiser prior to play. Teams containing ladies will generally play alongside similar teams.

Prizes will be awarded to the two top teams and best individual scores. Additional prizes for Nearest the pin and Nearest the line will be awarded subject to entries

Lunch:

Lunch will be £10 per person and consist of jacket potatoes with a selection of fillings and salad. Please indicate on the form below how many of your team will be having lunch.

Afternoon Round

Format: 12 Hole Texas Scramble stroke play in teams of 6 played over holes 1-7 and 14-18.

Handicap allowance: 1/20th of combined team's course handicap, rounded to one decimal place. Ladies receive 1 handicap adjustment stroke.

Shotgun start at approximately 3pm.

Each team must use two tee shots per player, which must be appropriately identified on the card.

The draw will be made for the afternoon competition before the event.

Prizes:

The Team Champions will be the team achieving the best aggregate score from the two competitions and will be presented with The Bandits Day Shield. 

The Wooden Spoon will be presented to the team coming last!

The Texas Scramble Shield will be presented to the winning team from the afternoon round.

The Champions' Prizes: 6 footed beer glasses engraved for the winners and 6 tumblers engraved for the runners-up.

The presentation will take place on completition of the afternoon round.
